qāla nakkirū lahā ʿarshahā nanẓur atahtadī am takūnu mina alladhīna lā yahtadūn
He said, "Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided or will be of those who not are guided."
[And] he continued: Alter her throne so that she may not know it as hers: let us see whether she allows herself to be guided [to the truth] or remains one of those who will not be guided.”
He said: Disguise her throne for her that we may see whether she will go aright or be of those not rightly guided
He said: "Transform her throne out of all recognition by her: let us see whether she is guided (to the truth) or is one of those who receive no guidance."
˹Then˺ Solomon said, “Disguise her throne for her so we may see whether she will recognize ˹it˺ or she will not be able to.”
Then he said, “Disguise her throne; We will see whether she will allow herself to be guided [to truth] or will be among those who reject guidance.”
He said, Disguise her throne. We shall see whether or not she will recognize it
He said: Alter her throne for her, we will see whether she follows the right way or is of those who do not go aright
He said: Disguise her throne for her that we look on whether she will be truly guided or she will be of those who are not truly guided.
He said: "Disguise her throne for her; let us see whether she is guided or is one of those who are not guided."
Then he said: “Disguise for her throne so that we may see whether she will be guided (able to recognize her throne), or she will be of those who are not guided.”
He said, “Disguise her throne for her. We shall see if she is rightly guided or if she is among those who are not rightly guided.
He said, “Disguise her throne for her, to see whether she recognizes it or is left perplexed.”
He said, 'Disguise her throne for her, and we shall see whether she will be guided, or remains one of the misguided.'
(Sulaiman) said: “Disguise and transform in her interest, her throne (by removing all signs and engravings that depict polytheism or disbelief). We shall see whether she receives guidance or she becomes of those who do not receive guidance.”
Further he said: "Without any comment to her, set her throne in her sight; let us see whether she recognize it or she is of those who cannot recognize the Truth."
He said, "Disguise her throne for her, that we may look into whether she is guided, or she is of the ones who are not guided."
Then he said, "Make a few changes to her throne and let us see whether she will recognize it or not."
He said, .Disguise the throne for her, and we will see whether she discovers the truth, or she does not recognize it
Solomon then said, "Alter her throne for her that we may see whether she gets the point and comes to guidance or she remains unguided." (Solomon's workmen had erased the images of the sun god, inscribed sensible inscriptions and made the throne look even more gorgeous)
(Sulaiman) said, "Disguise her throne (and casually arrange) for her (to view it). Let us see! Would she recognize (her throne)? Or is she one of those who stay ignorant of reality?"
He said: "Change her throne that it is beyond recognition by her let us see whether she is guided (to Allah) or (she) is one of those who takes no guidance."
He said, "Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided [to truth] or will be of those who is not guided."
He said: "Disguise her throne so we may see if she will be guided or if she will be of those who are not guided."
Then he said, ‘Disguise her throne, and we shall see whether or not she recognizes it.’
He said: disguise for her her throne, that we may see whether she be guided or be of those who are not guided
(Turning to his nobles) he said: "Change the appearance of her throne. Let us see if she is rightly guided, or is not guided at all."
He said, ´Disguise her throne. We shall see whether she is guided or someone who is not guided.´
He said: "Disguise her throne, and let us see whether she is able to find guidance or remains one of those who are not guided."
He said, ‘Disguise her throne for her, so that we may see whether she is discerning or if she is one of the undiscerning ones.’
Said he, "Disguise for her throne; let us see whether she is guided, or whether she is of those who receive no guidance."
He said: “Disguise her throne for her, so we see if she discovers it, or she is one of those who do not discover.”
He said, “Make her throne uncomfortable, we will see whether she is guided to the truth or is one of those who receive no guidance.
He said, “Disguise her throne so that we can see if she is guided or not.
Solomon said:" Set the throne before her casually, and let us see whether she gets to the Truth or is one of those who are not guided to what is right."
He said: "Disguise her throne so we may see if she will be guided or if she will be of those who are not guided.
Solomon said, "Disguise her throne for her. Let us see if she recognizes it or not."
Sulaiman ordered, 'make the throne of the woman strange before her changing its shape, so that we see whether she gets the right way or is one of those who remained misguided.
He said, "Remodel her mansion for her. Let us see if she will be guided, or continue with the misguided."
(Then) he said: 'Let her throne be disguised, so that we can see whether she is guided or if she is among those who are not guided.
He said: Alter her throne for her; we may see whether she follows the right way or is of those who go not aright
He said: "Change/disguise for her, her throne , we see is she to be guided or she becomes from those who do not be guided."
Solomon then ordered to build a palace to accommodate the Queen at her arrival and said: “Let us see whether she will submit to God or will remain defiant.”
Said Sulaiman, “Disguise her throne in front of her so that we may see whether she finds the way * or becomes of those who remain unknowing.” (*Recognises her throne.
He said, `Make the throne so beautiful as to make her own throne appear quite ordinary to her, and let us see whether she follows the right way or whether she is one of those who follow not the right way.
Sulayman (Solomon) said: ‘(To test the Queen) change the display and appearance of her throne. We shall see whether she gets some clue (to recognize it) or proves to be of those who do not have quick reflexes.
He (further) said, `Make her own (old) throne seem discredited to her (in her own estimation by making this new throne of a very excellent standard). We shall see (thereby) whether she follows the right way (by discarding her old idolatrous throne) or whether she is (one) of those who do not follow the right way.
He said: "Disguise her throne for her that we may see whether she will be guided (to recognise her throne), or she will be one of those not guided."
He said, 'Disguise her throne for her, and we shall behold whether she is guided or if she is of those that are not guided.
And Solomon said unto his servants, alter her throne, that she may not know it, to the end we may see whether she be rightly directed, or whether she be one of those who are not rightly directed
Said he, 'Disguise for her her throne; let us see whether she is guided, or whether she is of those who are not guided.
Said he, "Make her throne so that she know it not: we shall see whether she hath or not guidance."
Then he said: ‘Let her throne be altered, so that we may see whether she will recognize it or be at a loss.‘
He said, “Change the appearance of her throne for her and we will see if she will be guided or that she will be of those who are not guided.”
He said: "Now disguise her throne for her! And let us see whether she will yield to the truth or be of those who are living spiritual darkness."
He said: we will alter her throne for her to see if she is guided or of those who are not guided.
He said, “Change her throne so that she cannot recognize it. We will see whether she is guided or is among those who receive no guidance.”
He said, “Disguise her throne for her, and we shall see whether she will be guided or be one of those who are never guided.”
He said: "Disguise her throne for her; let us see whether she is guided or is one of those who are not guided."
He said, “Disguise her throne for her, and we shall observe whether she guides, or will be among those who are not guiding.”
He [then] said: 'Alter the appearance of her throne: let us see whether she will be able to recognize it, or she will remain unguided.'
(Solomon) said, “Disguise her throne, and let us see if she can find the Truth or if she is of those who are not guided.”
(Solomon) said: �Disguise her throne for her, we will see whether she follows the right way or she is one of those who do not go aright�
Sulayman then said to his assemblage: "Disguise her throne to see whether she will be able to recognize it or she will be one of those who lack insight and do not discern the truth
He said, "Make her throne unrecognizable for her, we will see whether she is capable of receiving guidance or she is of those who are not capable of receiving guidance."
He said, 'Disguise for her her throne; let us see whether she is guided, or whether she is of those who are not guided.'
He said: "Transform her throne out of all recognition by her: let us see whether she is guided (to the truth) or is one of those who receive no guidance."
He said, "Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided or will be of those who are not guided.
